UNC-Chapel Hill is approved by the Veterans Administration as a training facility for students receiving military education benefits. All students, including new 1st years, transfer students, and graduate students, should visit the University Registrar's Veterans Affairs home page for more information about University benefits, the VA application process, and VA enrollment certification.
The University Military Certifying Official is the primary point of contact for benefits and is a member of the UNC Student Veterans Resource Team.
In addition to GI Bill benefits, the University also provides Lifetime Fitness academic credit for at least 1 year of active duty.
