Peace, War, and Defense Program (PWAD)
Peace and war are among the oldest dreams and most difficult challenges of human experience. The Curriculum brings together faculty and courses from many disciplines to provide undergraduates with a wide range of approaches to the fundamental issues of human conflict and national and global security and defense.
Army, Air Force, and Navy ROTC at UNC
UNC-Chapel Hill is home to three ROTC branches of the U.S. Military. Student veterans are encoraged to see out these programs for resources and commaraderie.
Military Health-NC Health Info
Funded by and a service of the UNC Chapel Hill Health Sciences Library, NC Health Info is an online guide to web sites of quality health and medical information and local health services throughout North Carolina. NC Health Info has an established history of meeting the health information needs and interests of English and Spanish speaking North Carolinians and leading users to resources that are reliable and easy to understand. Because links to information are vetted, selected, and maintained by North Carolina librarians who volunteer their time and expertise, users are assured of finding the very best information. This site has information specifically relevant for military veterans and families.
LOGTECH MBA at Kenan-Flagler Business School
The Center of Excellence in Logistics and Technology (LOGTECH) MBA is an innovative program with focus on corporate and military logistics. The LOGTECH MBA Program is delivered by two of the nation’s leading business schools, the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler School Business School. This unique partnership provides both military and corporate participants with a focused and dynamic professional development opportunity.
Citizen Soldier Support Program
The Citizen Soldier Support Program (CSSP), www.citizensoldiersupport.org, is a congressionally authorized, federally funded grant administered through the Odum Institute for Research and Social Science at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. CSSP is a capacity-building initiative designed to strengthen community support for National Guard and Reserve Component Members and their families. CSSP focuses on increasing geographic and financial access to deployment and post-deployment related behavioral health services, especially for those living in rural areas.
The SAFE@UNC website is intended to be a main portal for students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill around the topic of interpersonal violence, including stalking, abusive relationships, and sexual assault.
