Each year, The Office of the Dean of Students invites all military-affiliated graduates to the Red, White, and Carolina Blue Graduation (RWCB) where veterans, active duty service members, National Guard, Reservists, and ROTC commissionees are welcomed to participate. The program includes the presentation of colors and our National Anthem, remarks from students and administrators, and the presentation of Military Honor Cords and light refreshments are served. Dress is business casual or uniform optional (service dress/Class A).
The RWCB Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the FPG Student Union Great Hall at 9:00 am.
Important Information for Graduates: Please bring your UNC OneCard, verification that you have applied for graduation, and either a copy of your DD-214 or valid military identification card to the Office of the Dean of Students in SASB North confirm your registration for this event. You must be a degree candidate to participate and must apply to graduate.

Military Honor Cords
In recognition of your military service to the United States of America, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill would like to honor your graduation by authorizing you to wear red, white, and blue honor cords to your commencement ceremony.
Eligibility: If you are graduating and are an honorably discharged U.S. veteran, are currently serving in the U.S. military (active duty, National Guard, or Reserves), or will be commissioned upon graduation, you are authorized to wear a Military Honor Cord. This cord is provided to you at no cost by the Office of the Dean of Students.
